New to Our Practice: The Integrated Listening System (iLs)

We’re excited to share a powerful new addition to our therapy toolbox: the Integrated Listening System, or iLs.

This isn’t just a new technique — it’s a game-changing approach that helps the brain and body work together more smoothly. Whether you’re an adult struggling with anxiety or burnout, or a parent supporting a child with focus or sensory challenges, iLs may be the missing piece you’ve been looking for.

So, What Is iLs?

iLs combines therapeutic music, gentle movement, and brain-based activities to help regulate the nervous system and improve how we process the world around us.

Clients wear special headphones that deliver carefully filtered music designed to stimulate key areas of the brain. While listening, they engage in simple movements or tasks — like balancing, drawing, stretching, or playing — that build brain-body connections in a gentle, natural way.

It’s backed by neuroscience. But to our clients, it often just feels like calming play.

Who Can Benefit?

We’ve added iLs to support both children and adults with:

  • ADHD or trouble focusing
  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional dysregulation
  • Sensory processing challenges
  • Learning differences, like dyslexia or auditory processing issues
  • Trauma recovery
  • Burnout, brain fog, and mental fatigue

It’s also an amazing option for high-performing athletes or professionals looking to improve clarity, emotional control, or peak performance under pressure.

Why We’re Excited About It

Because we’ve seen what happens when the nervous system gets the support it needs.

Clients start sleeping better. Mornings get easier. Big feelings become more manageable. Focus sharpens. And people begin to feel more in control of their lives — not because they’re trying harder, but because their brain and body are working together better.

What Does a Session Look Like?

Sessions are flexible — they can be done in-office or at home with our guidance.

Each session lasts about 30–60 minutes, and most clients do them 3–5 times per week. During a session, you listen to the music while engaging in movement or relaxing activities. That’s it — but what’s happening beneath the surface is powerful.

Let’s Find Out If It’s Right for You

We’ll work with you to choose the iLs program that best matches your goals — whether it’s calming, focus, sensory support, reading, or peak performance.
