From Chicago to Texas
I was born and raised in the heart of Chicago, and at the age of ten, my family relocated to Texas. Growing up with the challenges of my mother’s mental illness ignited my passion for helping others. It’s this deeply personal experience that drives my work as a therapist. I understand the emotional weight of caregiving, family conflict, and navigating life transitions, and I use my personal and professional experience to guide you with empathy and understanding.
Specialized Support for Healing and Growth
I am currently working toward certification in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful method that can help you process past trauma, reduce stress, and improve emotional regulation. EMDR is especially helpful for those dealing with trauma, anxiety, and PTSD, and I’m excited to offer this transformative approach in the near future.
